Captain's log, Stardate 20010302.1620 ...

... oops, sorry, this isn't some kind of Star Trek episode. The purpose of this trip was to visit my girlfriend Annemarie, who had the opportunity to go to Fresno for three months. I took a good week's worth of vacation time and she did the same - we spent that week traveling in a circular route from San Francisco to Fresno and back.
