'98 ChicagoFebruary 22 - March 6, 1998 A short vacation that I spent with my friend and colleague Urs Wagner. We were in Chicago for one week and in the second week, we made a tour around Lake Michigan. It's quite a big lake actually. If I remember correctly, the mileage was almost 2000 miles for the whole tour ... (seems like a lot to me now. Can't be right. I'll have to check on that). We started and ended the tour in Chicago, going around the lake counter-clockwise. On the way, we stopped in Ludington and Sault Ste Marie, MI (with a short detour in the evening over the border into Canada), then in Manitowoc and Racine, WI. We also visited the Miller Brewery in Milwaukee. Chicago Windows The Chicago Bulls A tree Mackinaw Bridge Swim? Looks cold to me ... |
