Day 5September 12, 2000 We woke up to another sunny day and drove south towards Tacoma with Mt Rainier always in front of us. At Tacoma, we stopped to make a little tour around the city and to have a cup of coffee and a muffin/bagel at the local Starbucks. Afterwards, we turned west, over the Tacoma Narrows bridge along one of the many side arms of Puget Sound until we met US 101 (not the coastal part of it yet) and turned north.
